Calibration, inspection and certification are three different things
Suppliers use these three words as if they mean the same thing. They do not, and the difference decides what you get back.

What are calibration services?
Calibration services adjust an instrument against a reference of a known value, so that its reading is correct again, and record the result on a certificate. TopBorneo calibrates portable gas detectors on a test bench in Kota Kinabalu and issues a dated calibration certificate for each unit that leaves the bench.
What is the difference between calibration and certification?
Calibration is the work: the instrument is adjusted against a known reference and the result is measured. Certification only says that a document exists. Every unit TopBorneo calibrates goes back with a dated calibration certificate, and a copy stays on file in Kota Kinabalu. That document is what an auditor reads.
Where is the work carried out?
Calibration, breathing apparatus servicing and cylinder testing run on TopBorneo's own test benches. Fall protection inspection and laboratory equipment service are arranged per job.
